Potomac Division Board Meeting Mar 8th 2014 Minutes
PD Board meeting was held at Tom Brodrick’s house at
Call to Order Brian Sheron (presiding), Marshall Abrams, Bob Reid, Tom Brodrick, Bill Mosteller
The Minutes from Jan 20th were approved
Layout Tours - all are scheduled through November
Achievement- member questions answered – no further activity
Flyer – All material received for the April issue. Board members to follow up with potential advertisers.
Webmaster made a special presentation
Op sessions scheduled for April

Chairman is Brian Sheron
Location is St. Mathew’s Church in Annandale VA.
Clinics - we will have two (2) Tracks of four (4) clinics each
Registration – Floor manager is Tom Broderick and he will handle Certificates of Appreciation preparation, the program handout, and the necessary signage
Modular Layouts – 2 confirmed
Contests- Andrew Dodge to chair – 3 judges recruited
White Elephant Room Clint Hyde to manage
Advertising, Marketing – Brian Sheron to supply article for flyer and check with NMRA if it can be added to their upcoming calendar
Technology coordinator– Marshall Abrams to manage projectors, screens, cabling, extension cords etc.
No business meeting planned
$10 entrance fee with spouses and children under 16 free of charge. Non members to be offered a Railpass application
Doors to open at 8am and close at 4pm
Need a photographer – Marshal to contact a possible candidate
Web page to include a driving directions link
Clerk to send email inviting nearby Divisions and MER board members
Railpass forms to be printed from the web
Brian Sheron to provide peel and stick ID tags for attendees and also provide badges for volunteers
Web domain name presentation received. Up to $150 per year authorized to establish a new hosting domain.
Donations to the Kalmbach Library discussed more info to be provided at the next meeting.
Article for the flyer explaining how to have the Kalmbach research a topic to be provide by the webmaster and clerk
